Refund and cancellation

Eligibility

Fees paid for scoped consulting may be refunded in whole or in part when cancellation or scope change follows the conditions below. Informational prices on this website are not charges; refunds apply only after an invoice has been paid under a written engagement confirmation.

Timeframe

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to hello@platformnode.digital. Full refund of unused prepaid fees is available when you cancel at least seven calendar days before the agreed start date. Within seven days of the start date, a partial refund may apply after deducting preparation already completed.

Full refund

A full refund is issued if we cancel an engagement for reasons on our side, or if you cancel with at least seven days’ notice and no billable preparation has been delivered.

Partial refund

If work has started — discovery calls held, access reviews completed, drafts shared — fees for completed stages are non-refundable. Remaining prepaid amounts for unused stages may be refunded or credited toward a rescheduled date by agreement.

Non-refundable items

• Completed workshops and facilitated sessions after they have run
• Delivered artefacts (taxonomy drafts, journey reports, metric sheets, ritual templates) once accepted or past the review window stated in the confirmation
• Third-party costs agreed in writing (for example booked meeting rooms) already incurred

Deposits

Some engagements require a deposit to reserve calendar time. Deposits are applied to the final fee. Deposits are refundable under the same seven-day rule as prepaid fees; after that window they cover preparation and scheduling and are non-refundable unless we cancel.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule once without fee if you give at least five business days’ notice and we can offer an alternative within thirty days. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a scheduling fee stated in your confirmation. No-shows for booked workshops without prior notice forfeit that session’s fee.

Work already started

Once diagnosis or drafting has begun, cancellation settles on a stage basis: completed stages are charged; unfinished stages are not. Materials purchased specifically for your engagement (if any were pre-approved) are charged at cost.

Refund process and timing

Email a refund request with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within ten to fifteen business days of approval, subject to bank processing times.
